The South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (SFLHCC) recently hosted its 13th Annual Fashionably Red Heart Disease Awareness Luncheon and Panel Discussion. The event aimed to raise awareness about heart disease and provide information on prevention and treatment options. The panel discussion featured renowned cardiovascular surgeon Dr. Joseph Lamelas, cardiologists Dr. Hernando Torres-Ortiz and Dr. Pedro Martinez-Clark, and Danay Rodriguez-Arritola, APRN, DNP were also featured. Ileana Bravo, award-winning Broadcaster, Spokesperson, and Voiceover Talent, expertly moderated the panel discussion. Following the insightful discussion, the Colonnade Outlets at Sawgrass Mills treated attendees to a fashion show. Some of the most renowned high-end designers showcased their latest collections, including Valentino, Jimmy Choo, Herve Leger, Bloomingdale's LANVIN, St. John, Balmain, and Etro. The 13th Annual Fashionably Red Heart Disease Awareness Luncheon and Panel Discussion proved successful and impactful. It educated attendees about heart disease and highlighted the importance of early detection, prevention, and overall heart health.
