THE SOUTH FLORIDA HISPANIC CHAMBER TO PRESENT “Enhancing Your Credit Score” WORKSHOP

Miami, FL  - The South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (SFLHCC) is celebrating its 14th Annual Bankers Luncheon on Friday, March 6, 2009, starting at 12:00 noon at Bongo’s Cuban Café located at 601 Biscayne Blvd. in Miami.  This year the SFLHCC’s   Banker of the Year award goes to Angel Medina, Area Executive, South Florida, Regions Bank. 
 
Every year the SFLHCC presents the Banker of the Year award to a South Florida banker who has excelled in his profession and who also dedicates part of his time to community service.   According to SFLHCC President/CEO Liliam M. Lopez, “ For this award we always look at both the professional and the community involvement aspect.  Mr. Medina is an extraordinary leader who devotes a great deal of his time to supporting local business, civic and charitable organizations.”

The Keynote Speaker of the Bankers Luncheon will be Florida International University President, Dr. Modesto “Mitch” Maidique.
