Myrna Vaca is a highly skilled executive with over a decade of experience in community relations, nonprofit management, and government affairs. Currently serving as the Executive Director of Government & Community Affairs at Nicklaus Children’s Health System, Myrna oversees community outreach, government relations, and strategic partnerships to support the health system’s mission of providing world-class care to children and families.

Prior to joining Nicklaus Children’s, Myrna was the Executive Director at the Miami Marlins and loanDepot park, where she led community relations efforts and managed stakeholder engagement. Before that, she spent 10 years at the University of Miami Health System, most recently as Regional Director of Community Relations for Miami-Dade, Broward, and the Palm Beaches. During her tenure, she built meaningful connections between the health system and the community, while leading initiatives that enhanced the organization’s public image and strengthened its community ties.
