David Pruna
David Pruna has over two decades of experience in the banking industry, currently serving as the Regional President for Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties at SouthState Bank. Since April 2018, he has been responsible for overseeing a talented team across the Retail Bank, Residential Lending, Wealth Management, and Commercial Lending areas. Under his leadership, SouthState Bank continues to uphold its core values of local market-driven service, relationship banking, and long-term commitment to the communities it serves.
Prior to joining SouthState Bank, David spent 11 years at JPMorgan Chase, where he held various leadership positions, including Business Banking Area Manager. In this role, he was responsible for driving business growth and managing banking activities for businesses with annual revenues ranging from $3M to $25M in Miami-Dade County. His leadership was recognized in 2016 when he was named a National Achiever Area Manager.
David also held roles at Wachovia, a Wells Fargo Company, where he developed expertise in business banking and relationship management. His long-standing dedication to fostering community development and team growth is evident through his involvement with various initiatives, including the Catalyst Foundation, Volunteer Leadership Group, and the Diversity Council.
