Federal Credit Union (Miami Lakes, FL ), with $200 million in assets,
is looking for a strategic leader to join the credit union in the role
of Chief Lending Officer. This position, which reports directly to the
CEO, will lead the Consumer, Business Lending, and Collections teams.
Responsibilities include efficient and quality delivery of loan
origination and underwriting; growing the loan portfolio according to
the credit union’s overall strategic plan while maintaining a focus on
acceptable levels of risk; and implementing sound internal controls.
Other duties include the development, implementation, and administration
of loan and collections policies; ensuring portfolio management
compliance; contributing to the development of the credit union
strategic plans and goals as they relate to lending; directing
activities assigned to departmental managers and staff; ensuring
continuous staff development; and representing the credit union in the
local, business, and credit union communities. The ideal candidate will
enhance the sales culture of the credit union by promoting the brand,
coaching team members, providing feedback, and exceeding service
expectations. This talented executive will have extensive experience in
leading teams, a proven ability to manage relationships with regulators,
and a highly effective open style of communication.
A
bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field is
required. Minimum of five years of progressive lending experience in a
managerial role is preferred.
