Peter Yeo, Vice President of the United Nations Foundation Awarded at the SFLHCC Sustainability & Green Awards Luncheon
The atmosphere was electric at the South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (SFLHCC) and SFLHCC Foundation's annual Sustainability Lunch Conference, where notable figures gathered to discuss vital issues and honor exceptional leadership. Highlighting the event, Peter Yeo, Senior Vice President of the United Nations Foundation, was awarded the Distinguished Visitor's Award for his extraordinary contributions to global sustainability efforts. Adding to the prestige of the conference, Lisa Lutoff-Perlo, President and Chief Executive Officer of the FIFA World Cup 2026 Miami Host Committee, made a distinguished appearance, further underscoring the significance of the occasion. The event, celebrated for its impactful dialogue and recognition of leadership, continues to pave the way for a more sustainable future.

South Dade KIA Opens a New Building
On Monday, August 19th, the SFLHCC attended the grand opening celebration of chamber member Kia of South Dade's new building on South Dixie Highway Miami. This event provided an incredible opportunity to network with familiar faces and form new connections with fascinating individuals, including the renowned Venezuelan comedian George Harris. We are grateful to Leslie Simon for graciously inviting us to be part of this memorable occasion.
