Myrna Vaca is a seasoned nonprofit and healthcare executive with nearly two decades of experience leading community relations, government affairs, communications, and strategic engagement initiatives across South Florida. She currently serves as Associate Executive Director at Children’s Home Society of Florida, advancing the organization’s 122-year legacy of creating safety, stability, and opportunity for children and families. In this role, she supports mission-driven leadership, strengthens community partnerships, and helps guide programs that create lasting impact for vulnerable populations.

Prior to joining Children’s Home Society, Myrna held senior leadership roles at Nicklaus Children’s Health System as Executive Director of Government & Community Affairs and at the Miami Marlins Foundation, where she led initiatives focused on youth development, empowerment, and wellness. She also spent more than a decade at the University of Miami Health System, rising through roles of increasing responsibility and serving as Regional Director of Community Relations across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties, where she built trusted partnerships between healthcare, academic, civic, and nonprofit organizations.
