Honorary Board

Role of an Honorary Board of the South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce
The Honorary Board serves as a prestigious, advisory, and ambassadorial body rather than a governing one. Its primary responsibilities include:

  • Providing strategic guidance and counsel to the Chamber’s leadership based on members’ experience, reputation, and networks

  • Enhancing the Chamber’s credibility and public image through association with respected business and civic leaders

  • Acting as ambassadors by promoting the Chamber’s mission, values, and initiatives in the community

  • Supporting fundraising, sponsorships, and partnerships by opening doors to key stakeholders and sponsors

Term Limits and Appointment Structure
Honorary Board members are appointed to two-year terms and may be reappointed for up to four consecutive terms, allowing for a maximum total service of eight (8) years. This structure ensures both continuity of leadership and the opportunity to introduce new perspectives over time.
