Lenya Suarez Rojo was named Managing SVP, leading Business and Personal Banking segment in May 2025 for City National Bank of Florida.

In her role she will oversee all aspects of City National Bank Banking Centers network, including business banking. Responsible for its strategic growth, profitability, and leadership sales development.

Prior to joining CNB, Lenya was EVP, Head of Retail and Business Banking at Amerant Bank for three years, responsible for the sales growth of 20 banking centers across South Florida. A banking veteran with over 20 years of experience managing retail locations and leading sales teams. Her experience is diverse, having led multiple teams and managed initiatives in brand management, advertising, media, client experience, marketing plans, launching new products and more. Her banking career began with City National Bank and is bringing her experience back to contribute to its continued success.
Lenya Suarez Rojo earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Florida in Gainesville, where she also received her Florida Bankers Association Certification. In 2021, Suarez Rojo attended and completed The Wharton School’s Women’s Executive Leadership Program.
