Celebrating Leadership & Community:
SFLHCC’s 32nd Annual Installation Luncheon & Golden Eagle Award Ceremony
The South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (SFLHCC) proudly hosted its 32nd Annual Installation Luncheon & Golden Eagle Award Ceremony last Friday at The Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables, bringing together business leaders, elected officials, and community members for an inspiring afternoon.
A highlight of the event was the recognition of Ron Magill, Communications Director at Zoo Miami, who received the prestigious Golden Eagle Award for his extraordinary contributions to conservation, education, and community engagement. In a heartfelt and memorable moment, Ron Magill also surprised his wife with a special award, adding a personal and emotional touch to the celebration.
The program also marked the official installation of the SFLHCC Board of Directors, reinforcing the Chamber's ongoing commitment to championing Hispanic businesses and strengthening economic growth in our region.
The event featured a dynamic panel discussion titled "First Year Review of Miami-Dade County Constitutional Officers," moderated by Ambrosio Hernández, Univision Miami anchor and 10-time Emmy Award-winning journalist. The panelists included:
The Honorable Alina Garcia, Supervisor of Elections
The Honorable Gerardo Gomez, Deputy Tax Collector
The Honorable Rosie Cordero-Stutz, Sheriff
The Honorable Juan Fernandez Barquin, Clerk of the Courts and Comptroller
Each shared valuable insights on their first year in office, key accomplishments, and priorities impacting our community and local businesses.
The Chamber extends its sincere gratitude to all sponsors, partners, and attendees who contributed to the success of this signature event. Together, we continue building a stronger, more connected South Florida business community.
