4KIDS brings Hope, Homes, and healing to kids and families in difficult places through faith-based prevention, foster care, therapy services, and more.
May is widely recognized across the U.S. as National Foster Care Month, and blue is the month’s official color symbolizing support and solidarity for kids and families impacted by foster care. Last year alone, 2,448 children and teens in the 13 Florida counties served by 4KIDS were placed into foster care through no fault of their own. Because there are not enough foster homes in our region, many are sent to shelters, group homes, or even placed out of the county.
This May, individuals, groups, and organizations are invited to #GoBlue4KIDS and help kids in difficult places move toward the bright futures they deserve.
Join us! You can make a powerful impact on our community’s kids and families. Here are three simple ways to Go Blue 4KIDS and engage your community this month:
Fundraising your way - Invite your employees, volunteers, clients, and/or friends to rally behind our kids and families through peer-to-peer giving: Set up your personalized fundraising page in minutes and share it across your networks. Host a simple give‑back activity with your group—like a give‑back day, percentage‑of‑sales donation, team fitness challenge, or bake sale. https://give.4kids.us/4KIDSMiami
Giving at 4KIDS.us/NFCM/Give
Pick a day in May for your group to wear blue in support of kids in foster care. Be sure to tag @4KIDSMiami and use #GoBlue4KIDS to help amplify the message and spread awareness throughout our community
