Stakeholders from across South Florida gathered at the World Trade Center Miami office for the World Soccer 2026 Business Impact Forum, an important event focused on preparing the region for the unprecedented opportunities created by the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2026™. The forum brought together public officials, business leaders, and industry experts to discuss how the event's reach will spark long-term economic growth and elevate South Florida's global profile.

The discussions covered a range of sectors poised for impact, from retail and travel to hospitality and aviation. Panelists explored strategies to maximize economic benefits not only during the World Cup, but for years beyond. The event drew insight from a distinguished panel, including Mayor Daniela Levine Cava, Commissioner Juan Carlos Bermudez, Rodney Barreto, Ralph Cutie, and Rolando Aedo, each offering their perspective on leveraging this "once-in-a-generation" opportunity.


SFLHCC President Liliam M. Lopez was among those in attendance, demonstrating the Chamber's commitment to supporting initiatives that foster growth and collaboration across sectors. Liliam M. Lopez recently enjoyed a memorable evening courtesy of a Chamber member. John Bell Construction graciously hosted an intimate dinner at their offices, bringing together friends, colleagues, and community leaders in a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Industry leaders and professionals gathered for "Cocktails and Conversations" at Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse, an exclusive networking event presented by SYNOVUS. The evening provided the perfect blend of business networking and thought-provoking discussion.
