SFLHCC Supports Claws for a Cause: Making a Difference for Children and Families

ree
ree

SFLHCC is proud to support impactful causes in our community! Last week, our President Liliam M. Lopez represented the Chamber at the annual Claws for a Cause Dinner, a significant fundraising event supporting the Children’s Home Society of Florida (CHS). This signature event brings together community leaders and supporters to enjoy an evening of delicious seafood and philanthropy, all in support of the vital work CHS does for children and families across our state. Funds raised at Claws for a Cause help provide counseling, educational support, and critical resources to children in need. We extend our gratitude to Gloria Saiz-Rojas and Myrna Y. Vaca for their leadership, as well as everyone who helped make the evening a success. SFLHCC is honored to be part of such a meaningful mission and remains committed to giving back and strengthening our South Florida community.

The event, held on Thursday, October 16, kicked off with a lively Community Festival. Neighbors, customers, and special guests gathered to celebrate the fresh, modern look of the store and explore the enhanced customer experience that Xfinity now offers.

A special program was held for SFLHCC members and VIPs, featuring remarks from Comcast leaders and local dignitaries about Comcast's ongoing commitment to investing in the community and supporting regional growth.

Congratulations to Xfinity on their successful store redesign and for being a dedicated supporter of the Miami-Dade community!
