Top 4th of July Celebrations for SFLHCC Members to Enjoy

The 4th of July is a time to come together with family, friends, and neighbors to celebrate America's independence, and here in South Florida, we do it with extra style! From dazzling fireworks over Biscayne Bay to festive parades in charming beach towns, the South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (SFLHCC) is pleased to highlight some of the best places our members can enjoy this all-American holiday.
Whether you want a lively experience or something more low-key, there are plenty of events across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties to make your Independence Day memorable.
1. Altos del Mar Park, North Beach
Where: 7601 Atlantic Way, Miami Beach, FL 33141
What: Music will be played from a catalogue of musicians. The park will feature a rock-climbing wall, inflatable soccer, obstacle course, giant yard games, and an imagination playground, all available from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. There will also be many food trucks on site.
Why Go: This family-friendly event offers something for everyone, and the ocean breezes make for a fabulous evening under the stars.
2. America's Birthday Bash at Bayfront Park
Where: Downtown Miami
What: One of the biggest fireworks displays in South Florida, plus live music, food vendors, and a kids' fun zone.
Why Go: Ideal for members who want to join a downtown celebration while enjoying Miami's skyline.
3. City of West Palm Beach 4th on Flagler
Where: Downtown Waterfront, West Palm Beach
What: Live entertainment, a military honor ceremony, themed activities, and the region's largest fireworks display.
Why Go: A picturesque waterfront setting for families and professionals alike.
4. Broward County: Fort Lauderdale's 4th of July Spectacular
Where: Fort Lauderdale Beach
What: Free live bands, beach games, face painting, and a fireworks extravaganza right over the Atlantic Ocean.
Why Go: For those seeking a classic South Florida beach party.
5. Homestead's Race to the 4th (Homestead-Miami Speedway)
Where: Homestead-Miami Speedway
What: A unique Independence Day event with food trucks, kids' activities, live music, and a one-of-a-kind fireworks display set to patriotic music.
Why Go: Perfect for motorsports enthusiasts or anyone looking for a fresh spin on the 4th.
6. The Biltmore Hotel Coral Gables
Where: The Biltmore Hotel
What: Sit on the vast open field of the golf course and enjoy more than just a fireworks show for the evening, as there is BBQ, music, and a special drone show planned. The grounds open at 5:00 p.m. and will have a pre-show concert with the Greater Miami Symphonic Woodwind Quintet.
Why Go: Perfect location on the historic grounds

SFLHCC Expands Technology Committee to Support Innovation
SFLHCC President Liliam M. Lopez recently joined Vice Chair Duany Ruiz and Miami Tech Club Chair Jovianna Gonzalez for an exciting discussion about expanding the Chamber’s Technology Committee. Their meeting focused on enhancing resources, fostering collaboration, and creating new opportunities for South Florida’s thriving technology sector.
With technology increasingly vital in business growth and community development, the Chamber is committed to supporting innovative leaders and emerging talent. The planned expansion of the Technology Committee aims to provide members with greater access to educational programming, networking events, and strategic partnerships.
